Giant oceanic manta ray, is one of the two species of manta ray, the other being reef manta ray, they differ because giant oceanic manta ray is larger measuring around 5 m (16 ft), while reef manta rays measures around 3 m (10 ft), also manta ray has T-shaped lighter marks in their heads, while reef manta ray's are Y-shaped. Manta rays feed mainly in zooplankton.
Trivia
- Manta Rays in Abyssrium have an abnormal brown color, since manta rays in real-life are black, in Abyssrium they also don't have the lighter marks.
